Marketing Intelligence for Local Businesses in Bonnington
Bonnington sits within City of Edinburgh, Scotland, covering the EH6 postcode area, with Hamilton Wynd, Woodbine Terrace and Newhaven close by. Edinburgh's Royal Mile runs along the 'crag and tail' left by a glacier scraping past the extinct volcano that Edinburgh Castle now sits on, linking the Castle to Holyroodhouse along five joined streets first named as a single route by a writer in 1901. Squeezed for space within the old town walls, builders had nowhere to go but up, lining the Mile with tenements ten storeys and higher centuries before the word 'skyscraper' existed anywhere else.
ONS's March 2026 business count recorded 18,635 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses in the area. Essential Edinburgh runs the city centre's Business Improvement District, covering New Town from Charlotte Square to the St James Centre, while the separately run Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce brings together more than 800 businesses citywide.
Gross disposable household income per head in City of Edinburgh was £31,043 in 2024 (ONS). That's the kind of local economy marketing intelligence is designed to work in.
About Marketing Intelligence
Marketing Intelligence is our monthly report for owners who have the figures but rarely have the time to sit down and read them. We bring your business profile together with the information available from your connected accounts, and turn it into plain English next steps.

We use your business details, services, areas and goals to give the numbers context.
