Marketing Intelligence for Local Businesses in Merlin's Cross
Within Pembrokeshire, Wales, Merlin's Cross shares postcode district SA71 with neighbouring Bentlass, St Twynnells and East Trewent. Haverfordwest grew around a Norman castle, and Milford Haven was founded in 1790 when American Quaker whaling families from Nantucket, the Starbucks and Folgers, were persuaded to settle the new grid-planned town, giving their names to streets there today.
The ONS's March 2026 IDBR snapshot recorded 5,745 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses in the area. West Wales Chamber of Commerce, established in 1846, is the leading business network across Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Swansea and Neath Port Talbot.
4,835 active businesses were registered in Pembrokeshire in 2024 (ONS). That kind of churn is precisely why marketing intelligence matters - standing still isn't an option when the market around you isn't.
About Marketing Intelligence
Marketing Intelligence is our monthly report for owners who have the figures but rarely have the time to sit down and read them. We bring your business profile together with the information available from your connected accounts, and turn it into plain English next steps.

We use your business details, services, areas and goals to give the numbers context.

Step 3: Monthly report
We bring the available information together: what changed, what worked and what needs attention.
