Marketing Intelligence: Built for Local Businesses in West Looe
West Looe sits within Cornwall, South West, covering the PL13 postcode area, with Portlooe, Barbican and Plaidy close by. Bude's Cornish name, Porthbud, refers to an old holy man, and the town was the birthplace of British surf life saving, with the first club founded there in 1953.
The ONS's own figures recorded 25,575 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses in the area. The Bude and Greater Area Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer-run membership organisation representing local business views, affiliated with the county-wide Cornwall Chamber and open to businesses, charities and community groups across North Cornwall.
8.3% of businesses in Cornwall closed ('died') in 2024 (ONS business demography). In a market changing that fast, marketing intelligence is what keeps a business visible instead of lost in the churn.
About Marketing Intelligence
Marketing Intelligence is our monthly report for owners who have the figures but rarely have the time to sit down and read them. We bring your business profile together with the information available from your connected accounts, and turn it into plain English next steps.
How it works, start to finish
Step 1: Your profile
We use your business details, services, areas and goals to give the numbers context.
Step 2: Connect
You authorise read-only access to the accounts you want included, such as website, search, social or advertising.
Step 3: Monthly report
We bring the available information together: what changed, what worked and what needs attention.
Step 4: Recommendations
Prioritised actions in plain English, so you know what to do next without deciphering a spreadsheet.
