Pontop Local Business SEO Pages
Pontop is one of County Durham's local areas, within postcode district DH9, bordering Tanfield Lea, South Moor and Craghead. Durham Castle and Cathedral were among the UK's first UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and nearby Bishop Auckland's Auckland Castle served as the residence of the Prince-Bishops of Durham for almost 900 years.
ONS's March 2026 business count counted 14,825 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses here. Durham BID (trading as Life in Durham) represents businesses across the city, working to make it a better place to trade and visit; no equivalent BID covers Bishop Auckland.
26% of children in County Durham were living in relative poverty (before housing costs) in 2024 (DWP/HMRC via ONS). Understanding the real economic context of the area you serve is part of doing marketing honestly and effectively - that's what seo pages is built around.
About SEO Pages
Most business websites have a page or two per service and hope for the best. SEO Pages fills the gaps: we create useful pages for each of your products and services in each of the areas you genuinely serve, then publish them on your own website and put them in front of Google and Bing.
How it works, start to finish
Step 1: Agree the pages
We map your services and operating areas, then agree the page plan with you before a single word is written.
Step 2: We write the pages
Each page is written to be genuinely useful: what the service involves, the areas covered, and the answers real customers want.
Step 3: You approve
Nothing goes live until you have read it and are happy with it.
Step 4: We publish
Approved pages are added to your website and linked from the relevant places, so visitors and search engines can find them.
Step 5: We submit
We update your sitemap and submit it through Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools where applicable. No automated shortcuts.

£35 for the whole job, one-off — not a monthly subscription
What SEO Pages could do for your business
- Someone searching for your service in an area you cover finds a page that answers their question
- Search engines get a much clearer picture of where you offer each service
- Every page is written for your business, not a template with the town name swapped
- You approve every page before it is published, and the pages belong to you
- One job, one payment: £35 for the whole thing, not a monthly subscription
We do the work properly, but we will not pretend to control Google. Submitting a page does not guarantee it will be indexed or ranked.
