Aberystwyth's independent traders organise through the free, volunteer-run Aberystwyth Business Club, which campaigns for local business and lobbies the Welsh Government on traders' behalf, and which, after relaunching regular fortnightly meetings in 2022, remains active today, partnering with Menter Aberystwyth on the town's annual Talking Business conference as recently as October 2025. According to ONS, there were 4,070 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses in the area.

Workers in Ceredigion produced £31.14 of economic value for every hour worked in 2023 (ONS). Local spending power like that is exactly the audience social media content is built to reach.

About Social Media Content

Social Media Content is our monthly service for owners who would rather run their business than stare at an empty caption box. We think of the ideas, write the words and design the graphics, then send every batch to you for approval before anything goes out.

How it works, start to finish

  1. Step 1: Brand session

A short conversation about your tone of voice, your audience and what is worth posting about.

  2. Step 2: Research

We look at your audience, your competitors and what has performed before.

  3. Step 3: Monthly batch

We prepare posts, captions and graphics, with versions for each platform you have chosen.

  4. Step 4: Your approval

You approve, change or reject every post. Nothing goes out without your say so.

  5. Step 5: Scheduling and publishing

Approved posts are scheduled and go live on your accounts.
