Pottington Local Business Social Media Content
Within North Devon, South West, Pottington shares postcode district EX31 with neighbouring Shirwell Cross, Bittadon and Kentisbury. Barnstaple claims to be the oldest borough in the UK, granted its charter by King Aethelstan around 930 AD. Its Long Bridge, built in 1280 with 16 arches spanning 522 feet, is one of the longest medieval bridges in Britain still carrying traffic today.
Barnstaple & District Chamber of Commerce, an independent membership organisation established in 1911, represents the town's businesses and is run by a voluntary board of local business people. Official ONS figures recorded 5,070 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses in the area.
8.6% of businesses in North Devon were newly started ('born') in 2024 (ONS business demography). With that much movement in the local business population, social media content is exactly what helps a business hold its ground.
About Social Media Content
Social Media Content is our monthly service for owners who would rather run their business than stare at an empty caption box. We think of the ideas, write the words and design the graphics, then send every batch to you for approval before anything goes out.
How it works, start to finish
Step 1: Brand session
A short conversation about your tone of voice, your audience and what is worth posting about.
Step 2: Research
We look at your audience, your competitors and what has performed before.
Step 3: Monthly batch
We prepare posts, captions and graphics, with versions for each platform you have chosen.
Step 4: Your approval
You approve, change or reject every post. Nothing goes out without your say so.
Step 5: Scheduling and publishing
Approved posts are scheduled and go live on your accounts.

Is Social Media Content available to businesses around Pottington and Kentisbury?
Yes. There's nothing about Pottington's own postcode (EX31) that changes how we deliver this - the same goes for businesses in Kentisbury too.
Why does social media content matter for a Pottington business specifically?
