Raleigh Estate Local Business Social Media Content
Raleigh Estate sits within Torridge, South West, covering the EX39 postcode area, with Instow, Westleigh and Westward Ho! close by. Bideford earned its nickname 'the little white town' after an 1850 order to lime-wash its houses to fight cholera, a look novelist Charles Kingsley later made famous in his 1855 bestseller Westward Ho!, written from a house at the end of the Strand. Once one of Britain's busiest trading ports, the town supplied seven ships to fight the Spanish Armada.
Official ONS figures recorded 3,695 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses in the area. Bideford's more than 80 independent shops are supported by the Bideford Bay Chamber of Commerce, covering the town and surrounding Torridge villages, and by Torridge District Council's LaunchBideford scheme offering start-up support and shopfront grants.
6.7% of businesses in Torridge closed ('died') in 2024 (ONS business demography). Numbers like that make social media content worth having, not optional - a static approach loses ground fast in a market this active.
About Social Media Content
Social Media Content is our monthly service for owners who would rather run their business than stare at an empty caption box. We think of the ideas, write the words and design the graphics, then send every batch to you for approval before anything goes out.
How it works, start to finish
Step 1: Brand session
A short conversation about your tone of voice, your audience and what is worth posting about.
Step 2: Research
We look at your audience, your competitors and what has performed before.
Step 3: Monthly batch
We prepare posts, captions and graphics, with versions for each platform you have chosen.
Step 4: Your approval
You approve, change or reject every post. Nothing goes out without your say so.
Step 5: Scheduling and publishing
Approved posts are scheduled and go live on your accounts.
