Website Creation: Built for Local Businesses in Dragley Beck
Dragley Beck forms part of Westmorland and Furness. Dragley Beck, a hamlet in Cumbria, was the birthplace of Sir John Barrow (1764-1848), after whom Barrow-in-Furness is named.
The March 2026 IDBR snapshot recorded 11,500 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses in the area. Barrow BID has represented the town centre's businesses since 2016 and was re-elected for a third five-year term in 2026, running through to 2031, funded by a levy on town centre business rates.
16.6% of working-age people in Westmorland and Furness were economically inactive in 2023 (ONS). That's the local workforce and customer base website creation is competing to reach.
