Website Creation: Built for Local Businesses in Drayton
Part of Portsmouth in the South East region, Drayton is covered by postcode district PO6 and lies close to Wymering, Farlington and Highbury. Portsmouth is the only city in England that sits mostly on an island rather than the mainland, most of it built on Portsea Island, and its position made it one of the Royal Navy's most important home ports for centuries.
Portsmouth's first ever Business Improvement District was approved by a 93% Yes vote, generating £1.6 million over five years from a levy on around 289 city centre organisations. According to ONS, there were 6,095 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses in the area.
6,735 active businesses were registered in Portsmouth in 2024 (ONS). That kind of churn is precisely why website creation matters - standing still isn't an option when the market around you isn't.
