Website Creation: Built for Local Businesses in Fox Hill
Fox Hill is one of Bath and North East Somerset's local areas, within postcode district BA2, bordering Hobb's Wall, Freshford and Perrymead. The Romans were so impressed by Bath's natural hot springs that they built Aquae Sulis around them from AD 43, and the Roman Baths still fill with 1,170,000 litres of 46°C spring water every day. Almost two thousand years later, the architect John Wood the Elder and developer Ralph Allen rebuilt the city in Georgian stone, including the Royal Crescent's 30 houses built between 1767 and 1774 — work so complete and well-preserved that Bath is the only entire city in the UK designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Bath BID's directory lists over 650 member businesses in the city centre, and in October 2025 businesses voted with 96.4% in favour to continue funding the BID for another five years, through to 2031. The ONS's March 2026 IDBR snapshot counted 8,485 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses here.
8,770 active businesses were registered in Bath and North East Somerset in 2024 (ONS). In a market changing that fast, website creation is what keeps a business visible instead of lost in the churn.
