Website Creation for Guildiehaugh Local Businesses
Located in West Lothian (Scotland), Guildiehaugh takes in the EH48 postcode district and neighbours Whiteside, Armadale and Barbauchlaw. Livingston was designated a Scottish new town in 1962 to house Glasgow overspill, despite the area having 12th century origins tied to a Flemish settler known as De Leving, from whom the name derives.
ONS's March 2026 business count counted 4,870 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses here. West Lothian Chamber of Commerce, based at Systems House on the Alba Campus in Livingston, supports businesses of every size across Livingston, Bathgate, Broxburn and the wider county with networking, advice and events.
9% of businesses in West Lothian closed ('died') in 2024 (ONS business demography). That kind of churn is precisely why website creation matters - standing still isn't an option when the market around you isn't.
