Website Creation: Built for Local Businesses in Hatherley
Hatherley, in Cheltenham, South West, falls under postcode district GL51, near Up Hatherley, Boddington and Brockhampton. Cheltenham grew into a fashionable spa town after its mineral waters were reputedly discovered in 1716 when pigeons were seen pecking at salt deposits, and pigeons still feature on the town's crest today.
Official ONS figures recorded 5,375 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses in the area. Cheltenham BID, launched in 2016 and now in its third five-year term after an 82% yes vote, represents almost 800 levy-paying town centre businesses, alongside the Cheltenham Chamber of Commerce which has supported the town's business community since 1902.
7.3% of businesses in Cheltenham were classed as high-growth in 2024 (ONS). That kind of churn is precisely why website creation matters - standing still isn't an option when the market around you isn't.
