Local Business Website Creation in Livingston
Livingston sits within West Lothian, Scotland, covering the EH54 postcode area, with Kirkton, Knightsridge and Murieston close by. Livingston was designated a Scottish new town in 1962 to house Glasgow overspill, despite the area having 12th century origins tied to a Flemish settler known as De Leving, from whom the name derives.
West Lothian Chamber of Commerce, based at Systems House on the Alba Campus in Livingston, supports businesses of every size across Livingston, Bathgate, Broxburn and the wider county with networking, advice and events. According to ONS, there were 4,870 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses in the area.
9% of businesses in West Lothian closed ('died') in 2024 (ONS business demography). Numbers like that make website creation worth having, not optional - a static approach loses ground fast in a market this active.
