Website Creation: Built for Local Businesses in Lower Shepton
Lower Shepton is one of Somerset's local areas, within postcode district BA9, bordering Penselwood, Southmarsh and Maperton. Bridgwater's Guy Fawkes Carnival can be traced back through journalistic records to 1847, making it the oldest event of its kind in the UK, and the town retains the unique tradition of squibbing, giant fireworks held aloft on poles.
ONS's official count recorded 24,665 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses in the area. Sedgemoor Chamber of Commerce, formerly the Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce, has represented the town's business community since incorporating in 2008 and runs the Bridgwater Town Team promoting the town centre.
Somerset's population changed by 4.1% over the five years to 2024 (ONS). That's the size of the audience website creation is working with in this area.
