Website Creation for Local Businesses in Springbank
Within Cheltenham, South West, Springbank shares postcode district GL51 with neighbouring Hatherley, Little Shurdington and Uckington. Cheltenham grew into a fashionable spa town after its mineral waters were reputedly discovered in 1716 when pigeons were seen pecking at salt deposits, and pigeons still feature on the town's crest today.
According to the ONS's March 2026 IDBR snapshot, there were 5,375 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses in the area. Cheltenham BID, launched in 2016 and now in its third five-year term after an 82% yes vote, represents almost 800 levy-paying town centre businesses, alongside the Cheltenham Chamber of Commerce which has supported the town's business community since 1902.
Job density in Cheltenham was 1.03 in 2024 (ONS) - roughly that many jobs for every working-age resident. That context matters for understanding who's actually available to buy from you, which is exactly what website creation is for.
