West Field Local Business Website Creation
Located in Bassetlaw (East Midlands), West Field takes in the DN22 postcode district and neighbours South Wheatley, West Drayton and Eaton. Worksop is known as the Gateway to the Dukeries and was once famous for liquorice cultivation, while nearby Retford successfully petitioned to have the Great North Road diverted through the town in the 1750s to boost its prosperity.
Worksop and Retford have no town-specific Chamber of Commerce, so small businesses across Bassetlaw are served directly by independent legal and accountancy firms based in both towns. Official ONS figures counted 4,385 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses here.
11% of businesses in Bassetlaw were newly started ('born') in 2024 (ONS business demography). With that much movement in the local business population, website creation is exactly what helps a business hold its ground.
