Local Business Website Creation in Woodthorpe
Woodthorpe is one of York's local areas, within postcode district YO24, bordering Acomb, Dringhouses and Holgate. York was the Viking age capital Jorvik from 866 AD, a trading hub reaching as far as the Persian Gulf, and later became a confectionery powerhouse through Rowntree's and Terry's, the makers of Kit Kat.
York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, tracing back to the York Chamber of Commerce Trade and Industry founded in 1988, represents small businesses across York, though it is now headquartered in Bradford alongside the wider West and North Yorkshire Chamber network. ONS counted 7,165 VAT and/or PAYE registered businesses here.
10.6% of businesses in York were newly started ('born') in 2024 (ONS business demography). With that much movement in the local business population, website creation is exactly what helps a business hold its ground.
